About the menu

Bar La Huella in Madrid’s Chamartín district offers a warm, rustic Mediterranean dining experience just steps from the Bernabeu stadium. This cozy bar-café combines quick, attentive service with a calm atmosphere, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or casual tapas. The menu highlights include a spectacular mollete de tortilla, rich Filipino-style noodles with tender chicken, and perfectly slow-cooked beef shank served with white rice. Traditional dishes like hearty stewed lentils and caña de lomo reflect genuine, home-style cooking that invites repeat visits. While tapas are filling and well-crafted, dessert experiences vary, with some cakes falling short of expectations. Prices remain fair, especially given the location's appeal. Friendly staff, some with English proficiency, enhance the experience, accommodating both locals and visitors. With a relaxed outdoor seating option and a rustic ambiance, Bar La Huella feels like a hidden gem where classic Mediterranean flavors and comforting Spanish fare meet effortless hospitality.

Cozy all day cafe/bar next to the Bernabeu. Stopped for breakfast on a weekday and wasn’t busy at all. Service was quick and efficient but friendly. Servers know enough English to help out those with minimal Spanish fluency. There’s a few outdoor tables for up to 5 people and standing tables. Tortilla, sandwiches, porra and coffee were satisfactory and very fairly priced considering how close this is to the stadium.
